Penn Masala

The very first a cappella group in the world featuring South Asian music, Penn Masala has been at the pioneer stage of its career.

The group was first seen in 1996. The group is actually a student group from the University of Pennsylvania. The very foremost reason for this band to create music was to bring in their traditional ideology and define and explore the true South Asian culture through the medium of music. Penn Masala has been a very successful group who have till date made 10 albums. From 1996 to 2019, 10 superhit albums. Along with that, the group has also performed live for the then president of USA Barack Obama at the White House, IIFA Awards and also for the Reliance Group of India. Other than that, Penn Masala have done several live shows in Kolkata, Montreal, United Kingdom, London, Hammersmith and many other locations across the globe. They are widely regarded as the finest group of  Instrumentalists in their genre of work.
