Talat Aziz

Talat Aziz is Hyderabad-based Ghazal singer, music composer and actor. He is renowned for his soothing music and mesmerising effect on the listeners. Talat learnt music initially from Kirana Gharana and then from famous singers like Ustad Samad Khan, Ustad Faiyyaz Ahmed Khan, and Mehdi Hassan.

After releasing his first album under Jagjit Singh in 1980, he released many albums and collaborated with singers such as Sonu Nigam, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Ghulam Ali, Hariharan, and Pankaj Udhas.

Aziz also composed music for various TV serials such as Deewar, Baaz, Adhikaar, Ghutan, Sailaab, Aashirwad, and Noorjahan. He composed music and sung for a feature film titled Majaz: Ae Gham-e-Dil Kya Karun. One of his famous songs are ‘phir chhidi raat’, ‘yeh ishq nahin asan‘ , ‘chahenge tujhe par kabhi‘
