Vineeth Sreenivasan

Vineeth Sreenivasan is a Malayalam playback singer, actor, film director, screenwriter, producer, and lyricist. He used to sing a folklore Muslim song often known as ‘Mappilapattu’ even in youth festivals at school. It was then Priyadarshan insisted him to render a Mappilapattu for his upcoming movie ‘Kilichundan Mampazham.’

Vineeth won the AMMA Best Male Singer Award 2008 for his songs ‘Mampullikkavil’ and ‘Jillu Jillu‘ and also the Best Male new face of the year 2008 by Asianet, for his role in Cycle – his debut movie.

Some of his popular songs include ‘Entammede Jimikki Kammal‘, ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’, ‘Karale Karalinte’, ‘Anuraagathin Velayi’ , ‘Nee Pidiyana’, ‘Kaattu Mooliyo’, ‘Kudukku’.
